We are celebrating summer with a day of play. Luke always looked out the window and saw a huge pool, but unfortunatly that belongs to a private property. We live in apartments nearby, and we don't dare to even ask to use their pool, so we created a little something for him.

Yes what you see there is a Dora chair and a purple tricycle, they were handed down to me from my sister, Luke loves them.

Grams is City Bound, Visiting her Sister!

 This past weekend I brought my grandmother to see her sister in New York City. Her sister has dementia so we wanted to get out there and be of a support.

Our Second Visit to Mystic Aquarium

It's amazing what a stroller and a couple months will do. Because we had him in the stroller we were able to enjoy the aquarium a little more than last time. We were able to visit more of the museum this time, because we didn't have a wild baby on the loose.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

 I decided to throw a birthday party for grams, and as much as she didn't want to do it, she agreed. It was a very quiet get together as she wanted, then one of her kids came in with beer, then another, then someone brought a pack. When we walked outside there was a potent smell of cigarettes and marijuana and our neighbors took notice, and let's just say it was embarrassing. When the party was over (basically when there was no more food) the backyard was scattered with beer bottles. My sister and I rushed to pick everything up before anyone noticed, but unfortunately the next day we realized we missed a lot of spots.

I honestly cannot believe they left me with this mess, especially in the yard. I don't smoke, I don't drink nor did I participate in any of their inappropriate stories. Needless to say Grams and I were livid.

Grams tried to enjoy her party as much as she could. I really hoped she liked it. I tried. 

First Trip to Mystic Aquarium

So, as you can see by the photographs, we didn't enjoy much. Quite frankly it was a lot of new things for the baby and he couldn't stop moving. We got a membership so I'm curious to see how the next time will be.
