Smoking is considered to be one of the most preventable risk factors that relate to complications during pregnancy and the delivery of a baby (Rasmussen, Heitmann, Tønnesen, 2013).
Five hundred thousand infants who are exposed to tobacco are born every year. More women smoke tobacco than any other illicit drugs.
Smoking tobacco is a drug that is used continuously throughout the day, so prenatal tobacco exposure is imminent (Respass, 2011). Tobacco contains many chemically active compounds which are dangerous for anyone who smokes it, such as formaldehyde, acetone, methyl, methane, and many others that are potentially harmful.

A woman who smokes while pregnant is in less danger of harm than her unborn child. The unborn child is exposed to harmful chemicals while in utero while still developing (Abbott, 2012).

Anastacia was born on September 12, 2003 via emergency c-section. Unfortunately grams had a fall while visiting me and she is still in the hospital, looks like she will be getting out tomorrow. I will give more updates.

It's a baby shower!

 We didn't do things in order, when it comes to first come love, then comes marriage, but it's okay! Today's post will be a picture dump of the baby shower. It was very small and intimate. My sister and law put it all together and she make everything so pretty. I loved all the balloons and all the thought out detail.

Being Pregnant

 Second kid not quite outnumbered but still scary. Anastacia or Annie is coming soon and I just want her to be a happy kid. As a parent, I'm going to be a better one than mine were to me because mine wasn't there. My dad died when I was eight, and my mom was a drug addict but died clean in 2004. My mom never came looking for me, so I'm already a great mom compared to that.

I promise, never to leave my kids, and I promise to do everything in my power to make you feel alone. I promise to hug and kiss you and make it normal to say I love you every day. I promise to be a tickle monster and make you laugh whenever I can. I promise to make books important and make learning fun.

I can't make any more promises because I have a bad memory and if I don't remember it kinda classifies as a broken promise. The promises that I promised don't even need remembering, because I'm sure it will come naturally.

 The second time around, this is what I'm trying out for new baby.

 With Luke, honestly, I had the cheapest bottles I could find and they worked. It was whatever I could afford at the time. This time around I am blessed to kinda upgrade.
